Dear Winter,

I’ve decided what this blog will be about. I mean, I’m sure you guys don’t wanna hear the same, “I don’t have anything to write about, so I’ll ramble on about my lack of topic,” every week. So the theme will be letters to abstract things such as toiler paper, hope, winter, etc.
Anyway, here goes:

Dear Winter,
I’m very disappointed that you’re still here. Why’d u even come back? Seriously? EVERY YEAR?! Come on! Most people are sick of you within the first week of your arrival and the only thing you bring that anyone likes is that one holiday, and even that could easily be donated to spring. Snow doesn’t count, people are excited about it for one day and then it’s just on one of the other hassles you bring(not to mention the fact that you’re so stingy you only give it to half of the world(which is probably a good thing)). You are cruel season. You strip the trees of their leaves, you strip the ground of its greenery, even the animals try to sleep you away in their tree trunks or caves. Yet you come back each year… Why bother?
Have you ever read the poems that mention you? Sometime in the near future you should. Heck, you even tried to kill the first colonists that tried to settle in North America. Are you racist? You were bad from the beginning. I’m almost positive you weren’t in the Garden of Eden.
Anyway, all that to say, PLEASE DON’T COME BACK NEXT YEAR!

DISCLAIMER: All my letters will not be cruel and negative like that, I’m just very sick of Winter and very anxious for Summer( I know seasons are not supposed to be capitalized, but I’m referring to them as people.)
By the way, does anyone have any suggestions for me to write about? I’d be very happy for some.
